Cancer Survivors
Surviving cancer or other life threatening illnesses can be emotionally challenging. It can feel like battle. Even if though the battle has been won which feels victorious there is usually an aftermath of emotions that ensue. It can be difficult to make major decisions and some feel emotionally paralyzed. The fear of recurrence can result in extreme anxiety that can be debilitating. Although happy to be alive, cancer survivors may feel guilty that they survived while fellow patients died.
